Terms & Conditions

Service Agreement

These terms explain how we work, what you can expect from Upper Glass Cleaning Services, and the responsibilities we both share when you book us. By requesting or accepting our services you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Upper Glass Cleaning Services provides exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial customers in the South West.

Services we provide

Window cleaning, gutter clearing, pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, roof scraping, caravan cleaning, and conservatory cleaning. The exact scope for your visit is confirmed in your quote or booking confirmation.

Quotes and bookings

  • Quotes are based on the information provided and may be revised if the site conditions differ.
  • A booking is confirmed once you accept a quote verbally or in writing.
  • For recurring services, the agreed frequency continues until you ask us to change or cancel it.

Access and site conditions

  • Please ensure gates are unlocked and that we have clear, safe access to the areas to be cleaned.
  • Windows and skylights should be closed before we start. Let us know about known leaks or weak seals.
  • We may refuse or pause work if conditions are unsafe (for example, severe weather, unsafe ladders, or obstructions).

Water, power, and equipment

  • We generally use our own purified water systems. If a job requires your water or power supply we will agree this with you in advance.
  • We take care with hoses and equipment but cannot be responsible for pre-existing faults with outside taps or power points.

Payment terms

  • Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept bank transfer or cash. Invoice details are provided on request.
  • Late payments may result in suspension of future visits until balances are cleared.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move a visit.
  • We may reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or operational reasons. We will give as much notice as possible.
  • If we arrive and cannot gain access, a call-out charge may apply to cover travel and time.

Service quality and re-cleans

  • We stand by a 24-hour call-back promise: if you notice an issue, tell us within 24 hours and we will return to put it right.
  • Re-cleans cover the original scope only and do not include new issues arising after our visit.

Liability and limitations

  • We are insured for our work. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, worn seals, failed paint, or defects that become apparent during cleaning.
  • We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses.
  • You are responsible for moving fragile items, plant pots, or ornaments that could be affected by water or access.

Photos and marketing

  • Before-and-after photos may be taken to evidence work. We will not share identifiable photos of your property without your permission.
  • License plate numbers and personal identifiers are removed or obscured before any marketing use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. The latest version is always available on this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
